Adil Raja strongly condemned Pakistani forces for airstrikes in Afghanistan’s Paktika province that killed members of a local cricket team and numerous civilians, including women and children, describing it as a display of “murderous arrogance” by the Punjabi-dominated military mindset.

Reports confirm that three Afghan domestic cricketers—Kabeer, Sibghatullah, and Haroon—were among at least 40 people killed in the late-night strikes, prompting the Afghanistan Cricket Board to withdraw from an ongoing tri-series with Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Prominent Afghan players like Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi expressed outrage, labeling the attacks as “barbaric” and highlighting the loss of innocent lives, including children, amid escalating border tensions.
Raja warned that such actions could provoke retaliation and destabilize regional peace, linking them to broader tensions and failed military strategies
