An overview of the case against Maj (R) Adil Raja:
What was ISI thinking to achieve from these shenanigans? You have spent in excess of £250K and what have you gained and even if you win, what will you achieve? If any damages are awarded, you will get nothing as Mr Raja does not have anything, zilch! What then? And if you lose? You will be the laughing stock of the town! Today the Judge made an observation that “the claimant claims he lost his credibility: the way ISI is currently in the news in a very bad way, just associating with them gives you a bad name!”
Is that why you started this case?
Mr Raja presented his case brilliantly, he made some eye opening claims: then we had a hawk like Mr Shaheen Sehbai, a veteran Journalist as a witness: the more questions you asked, more damaging it was for your reputation: then comes a seasoned calm collected Barrister Shehzad Akbar: the things he said and you were trying to trap him, you were digging your grave even deeper: after that was thunderous Col Akbar: he took you to cleaners.
No matter who wins or loses, you have bought a very expensive bad reputation and worst still, you paid for it with money too. Bravo!
Pakistan is at a loss in this!
