Today, Adil Raja has repaid the debt of the nation by exposing the heinous crimes of the ISI during his arguments at the London court against Brigadier Rashid Naseer, former ISI Sector Commander Punjab.
Adil Raja presented all the evidence related to the martyrdom of Arshad Sharif before the court. A critical part of the JIT report clarified the case — revealing that Arshad Sharif’s hosts in Kenya were in constant contact with an ISI Brigadier.
Adil Raja laid bare the journalistic contributions of Shaheed Arshad Sharif, his courage in defending freedom of expression, the state oppression he suffered, and his brutal murder — directly implicating the ISI’s involvement.
He also submitted evidence regarding the assassination attempt on Imran Khan, informing the court how an FIR could not be lodged against General Faisal Naseer, and how Brigadier Rashid Naseer was controlling all matters across Punjab under him. The entire assassination plan against Imran Khan was presented with supporting materials, including pre- and post-attack statements, the FIR, and irrefutable evidence of ISI interference.
Adil Raja further presented evidence in court regarding Zille Shah, a PTI worker who was martyred under custodial torture. From the postmortem report to the statements of family members, key details were brought forward. His arrest from Zaman Park and the connection to his mutilated body were clearly established. Raja demonstrated how the ISI is carrying out state repression against political workers, and how Brigadier Rashid Naseer was responsible for these crimes in Punjab.
